Warehouse & Distribution Lead
Purpose:
Administering warehouse operations for the District, ordering items to maintain required inventory levels
Performing warehousing duties and loading and unloading orders, stocking inventory
Ensuring specifications, quantity and quality of orders are correct
Verifying stock and identifying losses
Maintaining and organizing warehouse layout
Transporting orders over designated and on-demand routes
Ensuring safe operation of vehicles
Essential Functions:
Load orders for supplies and/or equipment
Maintain perpetual inventory
Maintain warehouse in a safe and sanitary condition
Maintain vehicles and warehouse equipment (e.g. cleaning, inspecting, fueling, oil, tire pressure, etc.)
Order items
Receive purchased supplies and equipment
Research discrepancies on orders and/or invoices (e.g. overages, shortages, etc.)
Respond to inquiries of staff
Stock equipment, materials and supplies
Store supplies and equipment in warehouse
Transport warehouse shipments to requesting site (e.g. supplies, equipment, etc.)
Unload deliveries
Qualifications: Job related experience within specialized field is required. High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid Driver's License & Evidence of Insurability.
