Founded in 1977, the company operates from a 150,000 square foot manufacturing and roasting facility, with more than 2 million pounds of green coffee storage capacity, and a 50 million pounds annual coffee roasting capacity. We have multiple roasting lines, flavor mixing systems, and 14 automated packaging lines.
POSITION SUMMARY: Receiving Distribution Clerk (1st Shift)
SALARY RANGE: $19.50 - $20.50 per hour
SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
REPORTS TO: Warehouse Supervisor

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:
- Utilize a forklift to efficiently and safely unload large pallets containing coffee beans, corrugate, film, and other related materials.
- Complete all necessary paperwork for the entire receiving process of each inbound truck, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Enter receipt details into an inventory management system with precision and efficiency.
- Use a reach lift or sit down/stand up lift to carefully place pallets in designated racking areas.
- Organize, consolidate, and strategically place new products in staging lanes daily, ensuring smooth production flow.
- Maintain a First-In/First-Out system to guarantee that expiry requirements are met without any spoilage.
- Overtime may be required to complete unloading of deliveries on a day-to-day basis.
- Perform general housekeeping tasks in and around storage areas daily, promoting cleanliness and organization.
- Continuously strive to improve processes and refine methods of job performance, seeking out opportunities for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Uphold and deliver safe, high-quality, and consistent products and services that exceed the expectations of our valued customers.
- Adhere to the guidelines and requirements outlined in the General Safety Communication Program.
- Complete any additional duties or tasks that may be assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to contribute to the overall success of the team.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE AND SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Forklift Experience Required
- Basic Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Lift up to 50-75 lbs. occasionally
- High attention to detail
- Able to accurately perform repetitive tasks
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND EQUIPMENT:
- This is a warehouse position inside a warm and dry facility
- Requires constant standing on concrete floors, exposure to loud equipment noise, and coffee dust/strong odors
- Personal protection equipment and other Good Manufacturing Practices are mandatory
WORK HABITS:
- Regular attendance and promptness are required
- Some work may be required outside of the normal work week
