DESCRIPTION (Summary):
Operates forklift truck to move materials to and from the different workstations through the plant.
DUTIES:
- Knowledge of operation sequence and material flow
- Operates forklift to supply workstations with materials with minimal delay
- Makes boxes, brings in skids, use scales to weight count containers
- Notifies appropriate person of quantities of boxes, baskets, lids, etc.
- Monitors conditions of forklift truck and requests maintenance as appropriate
- Such other duties as are assigned from time-to-time
EXPERIENCE OR TRAINING REQUIRED OR PREFERRED:
- Basic reading, writing, and communication skills
- Forklift
JOB EXPECTATIONS:
- Assists with production set-ups as required
- Be at work on time with a desire of performing to the best of your ability
- Communicate problem areas with supervisors
- Follow all quality inspection processes
Qualifications
- Previous water spider experience preferred
- Self-motivated
