We are seeking an individual with professional experience in installing, configuring, and maintaining an organization's computer systems, networks, and servers to ensure their reliable, secure, and high-performing operation. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting technical issues, monitoring system performance, managing user accounts and access, implementing security measures, performing data backups, and providing user support. The role requires a broad technical skill set and the ability to adapt to evolving technologies.
Key Responsibilities
• System Installation & Configuration: Install and configure hardware, software, and network infrastructure to meet organizational needs.
• Maintenance & Updates: Perform regular maintenance, apply OS updates and patches, and upgrade hardware and software to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Performance Monitoring & Tuning: Monitor system performance, identify and address bottlenecks, and tune systems for efficiency.
• Security Management: Implement and maintain security measures, manage user access controls, and perform security tests to protect data and network integrity.
• Troubleshooting & Support: Diagnose and resolve technical issues, respond to user queries, and provide technical assistance to end-users and staff.
• Mobile Device Management: monitor, manage, and secure a company's mobile devices.
• User Account Management: Create, manage, and modify user accounts, permissions, and access credentials.
• Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, system records, and IT policies.
• Collaboration: Work with IT team to plan and implement IT policies and optimize infrastructure.
Key Skills and Qualifications
• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of Windows operating system, network technologies (LAN, WAN), hardware, and various software applications.
• Troubleshooting & Problem-Solving: Ability to quickly identify and resolve technical issues.
• Security Awareness: Understanding of cybersecurity best practices and ability to implement security measures.
• Communication Skills: Effective communication to assist users and document system configurations.
• Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies, such as cloud computing and automation.
Additional Information
The hours are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.
This is an in-office (not remote) position at our corporate office in midtown Tulsa.
A small amount of travel (in town & out of town) will be required
