- Communicates effectively and works well in a team environment.
- Deliver ready mix concrete safely and efficiently from production sites to customer projects and ensure delivery records are processed appropriately.
- Maintain good customer relations by acting in a professional and courteous manner.
- Communicate with dispatch, plant operators, other drivers, and customers to provide quality service.
- Visually inspect the quality and consistency of concrete in the mixer truck.
- Perform daily preventive truck maintenance and inspection.
- Ensure environmental and DOT requirements are followed.
- Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Class A or B driver's license with current medical card.
- Minimal moving violations.
- Good interpersonal skills to establish and maintain respectful relationships with other staff.
- Must be able to interpret written information such as safety rules, sales tickets, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Strong work ethic.
- Flexibility is essential, as the position requires varied working hours and ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
- Ability to operate under stressful, time-sensitive deadlines.
- Perform all work in accordance with Casey Concrete or Company Safety policies.
- The work is performed outdoors and/or indoors, enduring heat, cold, rain, dust, wind, and other elements.
- Physical demands include but are not limited to walking, sitting, bending, stooping, and lifting – 50 pounds minimum.
