About Us:
Castello di Amorosa is a dynamic, high-volume, and fast-paced direct-to-consumer winery. We take pride in providing unforgettable experiences that leave lasting memories. We’re seeking a Marketing Associate to support various marketing initiatives, including website management, digital advertising, print materials, SMS campaigns, and content creation. Reporting to the Senior Director of Sales and Marketing, this role is ideal for a detail-oriented, tech-savvy individual eager to drive our DTC Marketing efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Website Management: Update website content, including new wine releases, retail pages, gift sets, and blogs.
- E-Commerce & Online Store: Assist with product listings, promotions, and content updates.
- SEO & Digital Advertising: Work with our SEO company to implement suggested updates, manage our Google Store, Google Ads, and GA4 analytics to optimize performance.
- Email & SMS Marketing: Help write and schedule promotional emails, SMS campaigns, special offers, and event invitations.
- Marketing Strategy: Collaborate with the Senior Director of Sales and Marketing on growth initiatives.
- Proofreading & Quality Control: Review marketing materials for accuracy and consistency.
- PR & Media Support: Track and distribute wine scores and reviews from wine writers, as well as coordinate and send wines out for scoring.
- Asset Organization: Assist with organizing and maintaining photography, videography, and collateral files.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Highly organized & detail-oriented – Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Tech-savvy – Proficiency in Canva, Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word), Dropbox, and a willingness to learn new systems. Experience with Salesforce, WineDirect, and WordPress is a plus.
- SEO & Digital Marketing Knowledge – Basic understanding of SEO, Google Analytics (GA4), Google Ads, and e-commerce marketing.
- Basic wine knowledge – Familiarity with wines and the wine industry is strongly preferred.
- Must be 21 and possess a valid California driver’s license.
Additional Information:
- Reports to: Senior Director of Sales and Marketing
- Work Environment: Combination of office and winery setting occasional exposure to outdoor elements.
- Physical Requirements: Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands; occasional exposure to mechanical parts, equipment, and airborne particles.
- Compensation: $26-$32 per hour, based on experience, plus bonuses, paid Vacation, 401K, and medical benefits.
- Employment Type: Full-time, non-exempt.
