Castle Country Vet in Price, UT is looking for 1 full time Veterinary Assistant. We are located on 1989 Airport Rd. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, punctual, hard-working, and a team player.
Full time position, Monday-Friday, 8am-5:30pm.
Responsibilities
- Administer necessary medication and vaccinations
- Prepare animals for surgery
- Assist in managing or restraining patients
- Maintain a safe and sterile work environment
- Obtain vitals and necessary patient histories
- Answering telephones and scheduling appointments
Qualifications
- Ability to listen and communicate effectively
- Ability to multi-task effectively
- Good interpersonal skills and team-work mentality
- Passion for helping animals
