What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Receptionist position at Cat Clinic of Asheville?
The Cat Clinic of Asheville is growing and is looking for the right person to join our tight-knit group of cat weirdos!
Located in beautiful downtown Asheville, the Cat Clinic is a boutique-style clinic that specializes in providing high quality, low stress care to the cats of Western North Carolina. The clinic is certified as a Cat Friendly clinic with a strong focus on providing gold standard veterinary care in a Fear-Free environment.
We are looking for a friendly and professional cat lover that is interested in helping feline caretakers receive access to the highest quality of veterinary care. The ideal candidate will be proficient with computers, enjoy helping people, capable of multi-tasking in a high-paced environment, and have a commitment to providing our feline patients with the gentle care they deserve.
We take the culture and working environment within our clinic very seriously as we believe whole-heartedly in the importance of work-life balance and maintaining enjoyment and fulfillment in what we do. The clinic is privately owned (not corporate) and managed in a team-oriented approach with feedback to management always encouraged. Most importantly, we do not tolerate belligerent, aggressive, or otherwise abusive behavior from our clientele - we want to work with our clients, not against them! We are open Monday through Friday, with no weekend client appointments.
Cross-training as a Cat Care Assistant is available for the right candidate. If you truly love working with cats and have some experience with the veterinary field, we'd love to hear how you could contribute to our team! Experience working with animals in a professional setting (veterinary or rescue), or experience working as a receptionist in a face paced environment is strongly preferred.
