POSITION: TABLE GAMES PIT MANAGER
SALARY RANGE: $55,000 - $74,000 Annual Bonus Based FLSA Status: Full-Time Exempt
Description Summary
The Table Games Pit Manager will assist in managing gaming activity on a day-to-day basis toensure the integrity of table games and poker room, as applicable. Will resolve issues and respondto guest concerns as they arise. Will assist other departments as a leader on the gaming floor when
gaming or guest relation issues arise. Exercise good judgment in managing the operation of allgames, within the limits of established policies and procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Compliance with Catawba Nation Gaming Commission regulations, casino policies, internalcontrols, standard operating procedures and conducts all games in accordance withaforementioned regulations, policies, and controls.
Assists with training and supervision of all Table Games personnel.
Responsible for distribution, collection, inspection of, and inventory of cards, dice, and othertable games equipment.
Responsible for all table games operations on their assigned shift and relaying any pertinentinformation to the other shifts.
Knowledge of gaming and alcohol beverage control regulations and company internal policiesand procedures
Promotes positive public/employee relations at all times.
Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
Assists in company functions.
Performs any other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
Essential Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies
Associate degree preferred or equivalent in experience of a minimum of 8 years TableGames experience, with a minimum of three (5) years of mid-level casino management(Table Games Supervisor or above). Table games start up and/or dealer school trainingexperience is preferred.
Public relations and customer service skills.
Oral and written communication skills.
Maintaining interpersonal working relationships among all personnel.
Willingness to assume overall responsibility relative to the performance of the staff, product,and equipment.
Timeliness and accuracy in performing assigned duties and responsibilities.
Ability to analyze and interpret departmental needs and results.
Ability to manage and resolve complex issues. Can be a high stress environment.
Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressures.
Broad variety of tasks and deadlines requires an irregular work schedule in an interruptiveenvironment.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality relative to financial data, casino/slot policies andpromotions.
Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
Certifications and Licenses:
Must have certification and/or experience in the following games: Craps, Blackjack, Roulette,Carnival Games, and others, as applicable.
Must be able to obtain a Catawba Nation Gaming License.
Physical Requirements
Ability to operate computer equipment for extended periods of time.
Must be able to walk and stand on feet for long periods of time.
Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, kneel.
Must be able to perform repetitive hand and wrist motions.
Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Visual acuity and hearing
Noise level may be moderate to high during busy times.
