What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receptionist / Administrative Assistant (10 hours) position at Catch a Fish Wellness?
We're looking for a unique blend of someone detailed oriented, can use Excel, is friendly to our patients to treat them like family, is into alternative medicine or other therapies like Yoga, Tai Qi and definitely understands the basics of a good diet. If you’re detailed oriented and would love to work in a peaceful wellness office that's very low stress we have the place for you. We're Catch a Fish Wellness a small wellness clinic located in Herndon VA. We specialize in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Nutrition, and Massage Therapy.
We’re looking to hire some one part-time @ 10 hours per week.
HOURS NEEDED (You can pick between 10-20 hours):
Tue: 2:00-7:00pm
Thur: 12:00-5:00pm
Saturday: 8:00am-1:00pm
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- We like to treat our patients like family. Greet patients as if they were your uncle or aunt as they enter the office and get to know patients by name.
- Turn over rooms, take payments, schedule next appointments
- Able to use and post on Instagram, Tiktok, Facebook.
- Create and edit marketing materials on Apple pages (same as MS Word).
- Submit insurance claims to our biller and keep track of insurance billing with excel/numbers for mac.
- Knowing your way around Numbers (Apple's version of Excel) / Google sheets a must. (You will not need to be an expert but know basic functions)
- Keep treatment rooms organized and clean.
- Present Treatment Plans to patients and have a basic understanding of how Wellness and Traditional Chinese Medicine works. We will teach you all of this part.
- You should be actively involved in self care of some sort. Do yoga or get massages regularly or are into creating a good dietary plan.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
