What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Operative position at Cathay Group?

3PL Resources, part of the Cathay Group, are recruiting for a large warehousing and distribution company, to work directly for them on a temporary basis. You will be joining a large but friendly team with guaranteed weekly work for reliable candidates. We have full time and part time positions available for Warehouse operative's
We also have night work available!. You will be on trial on a day shift for a week and then you can have the option to go to night shift.
Warehouse Operative duties will include the following tasks:
- Picking using a handheld scanner
- Gift wrapping items paid if paid for by customers
- Organising products on to pallets
- Wrapping up to 80 pallets a shift
- Checking shipping labels prior to delivery to ensure the destination hasn't changed & is still readable
- Checking all wrapping is intact prior to delivery to prevent damage in transit
You will be paid weekly, working a week in hand. You will need to wear dark casual clothing and safety boots.
Two shifts are available:
Sunday to Thursday 11pm until 8am
Monday to Friday 8am until 430pm
