Headquartered in Paterson, NJ, Straight and Narrow is the largest program of its kind. We provide innovative and compassionate services to individuals struggling with substance use and co-occurring disorders. We are looking for dedicated, caring and compassionate people to work in our Residential/Outpatient Treatment Facilities and Community Programs.

Full Time - Volunteer Coordinator/Family Support Worker
Hours: Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm, Tuesday and Thursday 10:00am - 6:00pm.
(Saturdays as needed)
Location: Paterson, NJ
Job Summary:
The Family Support Workers functions as an integral part of the prevention team provides individual, group, family, didactic sessions, family activities, workshops, parenting classes, Parent Advisory Committee meetings and case management like services to the families on his/her caseload while ensuring that the requirements of all regulating bodies are met. FSW will have thorough understanding of principals of family support and the protective factors and utilize such in daily work with individuals and families. FSW will engage families toward building character and self-sufficiency. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with community partners, families and work with other departments of Straight and Narrow.
Qualifications:
At least an associate degree. Must possess ability to type and be computer literate as well as work independently and be goal oriented. Bilingual English & Spanish preferred.

Salary : $43,400 - $54,900
