What are the responsibilities and job description for the Residential Assistant (Per Diem) position at Catholic Charities of Cortland County?
The Residential Assistant provides hands-off care in a residential setting, supporting residents while providing relief to full time staff. Staff employed in this role will fill in shifts as they are available and as the needs of the residence require.
The focus of this position is to be available to residents who may need assistance while working on skills related to independent living such as money management, housekeeping, personal hygiene, menu planning, meal preparation, leisure activities, socialization, and compliance with medical, psychiatric, and rehabilitation treatment plans.
High School Diploma or equivalent is required
Experience in Human Services, particularly in the areas of substance use and/or mental health is preferred
NYS Driver License is preferred
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
