What You’ll DoAs a key member of our WIC team, you will:
Build trusting relationships by addressing participant questions, concerns, and feedback, collaborating with the WIC Coordinator when needed
Support a smooth and respectful assessment and education process, keeping participants informed and engaged
Review and approve medical documentation in collaboration with healthcare providers
Plan, deliver, and evaluate participant-centered nutrition education for individuals, families, and groups—especially those with high-risk or specialized nutrition needs
Travel to outreach and satellite locations to expand access to vital services, including assisting with the WIC van as needed
Provide coverage as a Nutrition Assistant when required, verifying eligibility and accurately entering data into NYWIC
Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition
1–3 years of experience working with diverse populations

Competitive pay: $25.00–$26.00 per hour
Stable schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts (1-hour unpaid lunch)
