Job Responsibilities
Part time position /Day Shift
- Establishes and maintains filing systems for department records, including employee files, departmental correspondence and other files consistent with a smooth operating department ensuring that all aspects of confidentiality are maintained
- Answers telephones, takes messages, and refers calls and schedules appointments and meetings for department members.

- Sorts’ mail for distribution within department opens mail as instructed, date stamps opened mail and distributes.
- Takes, transcribes and distributes minutes of selected meetings.
- Prepares meeting arrangements; orders food service and schedules room preparation. Prepares packets and handouts for meetings as needed.
- Maintains an adequate supply of all routine office and unit’s supplies for the Care Coordination department.
- Prepares check requests and purchase orders as necessary, and follows up on payments and charges. Maintain files for all invoices and purchases.
- Gathers data for general information purposes or special reports and prepares reports upon request.
- Reviews all department documents and material submitted for Director’s attention to ascertain that all relevant data, files, signatures, etc. are included.
- Performs miscellaneous duties as requested by Director or needed for department.
- Works with others toward shared department goals including participation in department problem solving and performance improvement initiatives.
- Demonstrates an awareness of and respect for the cultural diversity of co-workers, patients and customers treating all people with fairness, empathy, and respect.
- Observes I-CARE Behaviors
- Types and mails all Transfer Agreements to Skilled Nursing Facilities yearly
- Additional responsibilities as appropriate to the running of the Care Coordination department or requested by CHS.
Requirement:
- HS diploma or equivalent
- Health care experience preferred
Salary Range
USD $23.58 - USD $23.58 /Hr.
