PI Specialist-RN

PI Specialist-RN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collects, reviews, analyzes and documents all quality issues.
- Develops tools and methodologies for quality assessment and data collection.
- Collaborates with physicians, nursing, ancillary departments, risk management, patient advocate and hospital committees to assure continuity of Performance Improvement data collection, assessment and follow-up on identified quality issues.
- Chart reviews for mortalities, readmissions, quality issues, peer review, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- New York Registered Nurse (RN) License & Registration
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree preferred
- Quality management experience preferred
- Required to pursue an ongoing education, professional certification as appropriate
