St. Joseph Hospital, located at 4295 Hempstead Turnpike, Bethpage, New York 11714, is a community hospital that provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient medical, critical care and surgical services. Its Emergency Department cares for approximately 33,000 patients a year. Other vital services include an Ambulatory Surgery Unit, The Center for Sleep Medicine, Hyperbaric and Wound Healing Center, CHS Cancer Center that treats a full array of infusion therapies in a private six chair unit, The Center for Speech and Swallowing Disorders, a Diabetes Education Center and a full scope of outpatient radiology services, including Cardiac CT.
St. Joseph Hospital became a member of Catholic Health Services (CHS) of Long Island in early 2010. CHS is an integrated health care delivery system which includes six hospitals, three skilled nursing facilities, a regional home health agency, hospice and a multiservice, community-based agency for persons with special needs. Under the sponsorship of the Diocese of Rockville Centre, CHS serves hundreds of thousands of Long Islanders each year, providing care that extends from the beginning of life to helping people live their final years in comfort, grace and dignity.
Under the general supervision of a radiologist and/or appropriate physician, performs radiographic procedures. Operates x-ray equipment, fixed or mobile, develops film, prepares x-ray room, equipment, supplies and medications.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be licensed/registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- Must have current licensure to practice in N.Y.S.
- Minimum of 1 year experience preferred.
- BLS required.
The range for this position is ($37.21 – 43.25) per hour.
This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
