What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pulmonary Function Technician position at Catholic Medical Center?
Performs pulmonary function, lung capacity, diffusion capacity, and blood oxygen tests to gather data for use by Physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of pulmonary disorders. Provides and assists with Pulmonary Function Laboratory services to patients as directed by physicians' orders.
Education :
Evidence of initial CRT or RRT credentialing through the NBRC and/or
CPFT or RPFT through the NBRC.
Experience:
Two years' experience in Pulmonary Function Testing.
License/Certification:
Maintains Basic Life Support (BLS) certification meeting AHA standards.
