Description
The individual will possess a demonstrated commitment to working directly with individuals experiencing homelessness, providing personalized support and connecting them to necessary resources. This is a full-time position.
Responsibility
The Shelter Case Worker is responsible for carrying out the assigned duties of the Program Supervisor or Diocesan Director of Housing. Their primary duties will be assisting in the case management, assessment, referral, intake, goal planning and discharge planning.
Requirements
- B.A. from an accredited university in the areas of Social Work, Sociology, Psychology or related field.
- The candidate must possess the ability to work independently.
- Applicant must be at least 21 years of age, pass all criminal and child abuse clearance checks.
- Applicant will also be subject to fingerprinting and have a clear criminal record. All CSS employees are required to complete an initial VIRTUS training.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $19.91 per hour
