Assistant Store Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our retail store. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail sales and customer service, with proven leadership skills to motivate and manage a team effectively. This role requires a hands-on approach to ensure the store runs smoothly while providing an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage store operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Supervise, train, and develop staff to enhance their performance and promote a positive work environment.
• Maintain high standards of customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Oversee inventory management, including ordering, stocking, and conducting regular inventory audits.
• Ensure the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing to customers.
• Analyze sales reports and metrics to drive performance improvements and achieve sales targets.
• Implement effective marketing strategies to increase foot traffic and boost sales.
• Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process for new team members.

Skills

• Strong math skills for handling transactions and managing budgets effectively.
• Proven experience in retail sales with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Proficient cash handling skills to ensure accurate financial transactions.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.25 - $15.50 per hour

Expected hours: 10 per week
