Description
CATS Academy Boston seeks a full-time Director of Residential Life. The Director of Residential Life will identify and create new approaches and best practices to enhance student involvement and strengthen partnerships and processes within the Academy. Located on a beautiful campus in Braintree, Massachusetts, CATS Academy Boston is an independent boarding and day school for 350 students in grades 8-12/PG.
Responsibilities
• Direct Residential Life, Assistant Director of Residential Life
• Responsible for hiring, supervision, and professional development of the Residential Life Team
• Manage the overall planning, management, and budget of the Residential Life Team.
• Supervise residential facilities, staff, and students.
• Oversee and enforce dormitory and dorm discipline policies and procedures, working with the Discipline team and the Head of School
• Supervise student life activities and communication program.
• Provide structure for student arrival and departure and transportation arrangements.
• Ensure students reside in a healthy, respectful, and safe environment.
• Become an expert on REACH software and enforce usage.
• Function as an Administrator on Duty during the academic school year
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
Education
· Master's Degree, preferred
Experience
· 10 years of leadership experience working in a boarding school.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
· Reach software a plus
· Paylocity a plus
