The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating daily warehouse operations in collaboration with the Director of Distribution and Logistics for North America. Key responsibilities include receiving and storing goods, managing inventory and sales flow, ensuring efficient delivery of products, supervising warehouse staff, and maintaining the security and organization of the facility.
FUNCTIONS:
Supervisory & Operational Oversight
- Supervise warehouse associates daily to ensure all functions such as picking, packing, and shipping are properly executed.
- Run daily operations in manager’s absence, including releasing orders, creating replenishment, allocating, and printing daily work.
- Promote a friendly environment with all permanent and temp personnel.
- Perform other functions as directed by the supervisor in order to meet the needs of Caudalie customers.
Shipping, Receiving & Inventory
- Responsible for shipping and receiving products, supervising unloading trucks, and checking in merchandise for discrepancies from France.
- Create transfers of goods from receiving or storage areas and shelving them to other designated areas within the warehouse.
- Responsible for processing returns; supervising personnel in charge of sorting, assessing, and placing products.
- Responsible for performing cycle counts on all inventory discrepancies found in the pick line.
- Assign a team to inspect and accurately record the percentage of packages shipped to customers.
Order Assembly & Labeling
- Assemble orders and kits as directed and assign same duties to temporary personnel as needed.
- Print labels and process orders and requests through the computer system.
- Responsible for creating custom labels for packages assembled in the warehouse.
Facility Maintenance & Physical Requirements
- Ensure warehouse cleanliness and organization, delegating tasks as needed.
- Lift and/or move boxes and/or bins from the floor to above one’s head weighing up to 50 lbs.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent (required); post-secondary education in logistics or supply chain (preferred).
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
Leadership & Communication Skills
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills; ability to motivate and coach team members.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage workflow.
- Must demonstrate a positive work attitude and leadership skills.
- Must have excellent job performance in productivity, quality, safety, and attendance.
- Able to work under minimal direction.
Technical & Compliance Knowledge
- Familiarity with inventory systems and warehouse management software.
- Knowledge of OSHA (or applicable local safety standards) and ability to enforce safety protocols.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in English required to ensure safe operations, effective communication, and accurate documentation.
Physical Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old due to equipment operation and safety requirements.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Must be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach, and continuously climb ladders and step stools.
- Must be able to stand/walk for up to 8–12 hours.
- Must be willing and able to work on powered equipment.
Other skills:
- Able to multi-task and handle pressure related to high volumes of work, processing, packing and shipping products.
Work Hours & Location
- Reports to the Director of Distribution and Logistics for North America.
- Available to work in the office Monday through Friday 7:00 am – 3:30 pm.
- Work location is in Carlstadt, New Jersey, with an occasional need to travel to New York City for meetings.
Annual compensation of 40,000 -$ 50,000.
