What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Cloud Architect position at Caylent?
The Mission
We are seeking an Architect for our Cloud Migration and Modernization practice. The right candidate is someone who can act as a technical leader during delivery and is passionate about working with our customers, partners and employees to drive the business forward.
Your Assignment
- Provide technical guidance to Caylent engineers on engagements
- Guide customers during the migration and/or modernization journey
- Develop long range plans with customer to adopt cloud best practices
- Ensure high quality of project delivery
- Design and implement IaC solutions that meet the specific needs of the customer
- Design and implement DevOps / GitOps solutions and workflows
- Manage project delivery using Agile methodology, creating backlogs that accurately describe the work to be implemented
Your Qualifications
- Experience implementing IaC in AWS
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience leading professional services engagements
- Enthusiasm for working in a startup environment and the ability to be cross-functional
- Possess a natural curiosity and excitement for learning new technology
- Technical background in DevOps or Cloud
