Summary
The IT Solutions & Delivery Engineer provides assistance in meeting cb20’s business objectives in a 50/50 role with execution split between the cb20 Solutioning team assisting with preparing project scopes, estimates, and BOMs, and executing delivery of projects in a project engineering capacity working alongside our highly capable Project Management Office. This position requires strong architecture, written and verbal communication, and technical execution skills, including performing installations, service, ongoing support, problem resolution, and coordination with other cb20’s departments, divisions, and subsidiaries. Pre-sales support will include customer technical presentation, consultation, requirements gathering, design, etc.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Spend 50% of your time in the cb20 Solutioning team interfacing with customers for requirements gathering, cb20 offerings and industry trend reviews, development of project scopes and estimates, and development of product BOMs for quoting.
- Installation, configuration, design, and support of advanced systems solutions through execution of scoped project work and tickets.
- Provide high level technical assistance to internal and external clients.
- As needed, provide training, consulting, or technical advice to customers and other personnel.
- Positively influence customer satisfaction levels with cb20’s provided products and services, through meeting customer expectations, follow-up, and positive problem resolutions.
- Plan and direct own activities with minimal management supervision.
- Maintain technical competence by keeping abreast of technology and technological developments, practices, procedures, etc
- Provide guidance and technical leadership to cb20’s Customer Support Center as needed.
- Assist with the future development of cb20’s CSP offerings around Microsoft cloud products.
- Continuously progress technical knowledge through certifications and courses. Certifications will require studying on your own time. cb20 will typically pay for course materials and testing.

- 7 years experience in the field
- Expert engineering experience (not just administrative) in the following Microsoft technologies

- Windows server (Domain controllers, dns, dhcp, print servers, file servers, terminal servers)

- Defender for Email (Proficient in planning and execution in multi-hundred user environments)

- Microsoft Entra and Entra MFA, Conditional Access, Secure Score

- Intune (Design and deployment for MDM and basic security management)

- Vmware administrative and light engineering experience

Salary : $90,000 - $120,000
