What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full-Time Behavioral Health Counselor position at CBH Care?
Responsibilities
Provides on-site daily supervision and essential coverage to consumers in a community residential group home program
Responsible for assisting consumers with their personal care goals, providing medication education, and observing their self-administration of prescribed medications
Performs crisis intervention services as needed and reports all consumer concerns to the group home manager
Participates in the development of consumer activities and encourages consumers to participate in all social, recreational, and therapeutic activities
Qualifications
BSW in social work, BS/BA in psychology, criminal justice, sociology, or a related field
AA with two years of experience in mental health/human services
Valid New Jersey driver’s license

Monday through Friday
8am-4pm, 4pm-12am, and 12am-8am
Monday and Tuesday, 8am-4pm, Wednesday through Friday, 10am-6pm
