What are the responsibilities and job description for the Legal Assistant position at CBIZ?
CBIZ is partnering with a top California law firm in the search for a Trust and Estates Legal Assistant for their Westlake Village office. This is a hybrid position that will require four days in office per week once trained. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of Trust and Estates assistant experience and strong technical skills.
Requirements:
- Minimum five (5) years of legal experience, with a strong background in Estate Planning, Trust Administration, and Probate. (PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THIS EXPERIENCE).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams) and Adobe Pro.
- Familiarity with iManage or similar document management systems is preferred.
- Familiarity with CompuLaw or other legal calendaring system required.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and overall work product quality is required.
- E-filing and/or probate court filing experience is a plus.
- Associate's Degree or higher preferred.
The salary range for this position is from $90,000-$95,000, DOE.
