Job Summary
Examines and ensures that information is complete and consistent on daily timesheets turned in by service crews. Receives, records and distributes work orders to service crews upon customer’s requests for service. Records information such as name, address, and article to be repaired or service to be rendered. Prepares work order and distributes to service crew. Maintains a record of service calls and work orders. Ensures that Joint Commission related preventive maintenance tickets are correctly filed in the Joint Commission binders.
Primary Job Functions
- Dispatch orders and relay messages and special instructions to mobile crews and other departments using radio equipment or telephone
- Uses sound judgment to screen and correct, if necessary, time sheets before they are keyed.
- Responsible for accuracy and changes to the company’s employee roster.
- Works jointly with other administrative roles to ensure synchronization between both contractors and governments reporting systems.
- Assists in a variety of administrative responsibilities
- Other duties/tasks as assigned.
Education, Experience and Certification
- High School or equivalent
- 2 years' experience in administrative work.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance
- Be a self-starter and have proficient typing skills.
- Basic math and telephone etiquette skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft and associated Suite programs, (Word and Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, etc.)
- Must have an insurable driving record and a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to read and write English.
