We are seeking an experienced Configuration / Release Engineer to support statewide cloud infrastructure initiatives for the State of Georgia. This is a hybrid role, and local candidates are strongly preferred. The selected candidate must be available for an onsite interview.
Mandatory Requirements
- 7 years of experience as a Configuration / Release Engineer or similar role
- Ability to attend an onsite interview
- Strong collaboration with DevOps, Security, and Infrastructure teams
- Build, deploy, and enhance Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
- Support automation pipelines using AWS Code Suite: CodeCommit, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, CodePipeline
- Design and maintain automated AWS Backup and patching solutions to ensure compliance with state retention policies
- Manage SSL/TLS certificates including installation, renewal, rotation, and validation across AWS services
- Maintain detailed documentation for configuration baselines, IaC standards, modules, and environment changes
- Provide training and guidance on Terraform, AWS best practices, backup strategies, patch automation, and certificate management
