What are the responsibilities and job description for the Finishing Inspector position at CCL Label?
Job HighlightsThis is a 3rd shift position. Hours are Sunday to Thursday from 11pm to 7am.Set up RotoControl machine with blades and nip rollers.
Work under a strobe light to review and inspect labels as they come off press for quality defects.Use box cutters and scissors to cut the web to make splices with tape.
Job Summary & RequirementsGood mechanical skills Basic computer and math skills.Able to read and write English Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
The candidate must have the ability to use, read and interpret scientific measurement and inspection tools devices. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus : visual acuity correctable to Snellen 20 / 20 is required.
Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment.Able to lift up to 35 lbs.Willingness to work overtime as needed.
Team player and good communication skills.Good attendance record.Ability to maintain highest safety standards.Ideally the candidate will have prior similar printing experience.
