About Cresset

Cresset is a firm built by clients, for clients. As an independent, award-winning multi-family office and private investment firm, we are reimagining the way wealth is experienced. Our purpose is to help ensure that both wealth and life are fully optimized—integrated, intentional, and aligned with each client’s vision of success.

We provide access to the caliber of talent, ideas, and investment opportunities typically available to the largest single-family offices and institutions. Our approach is personalized, entrepreneurial, and client-first.

Proudly owned by our clients and employees, Cresset was built to endure. We are creating a 100 year firm—one focused on delivering an exceptional experience, not only for the families we serve but for the team that serves them. Cresset is looking for a collaborative professional who brings strong communication and analytical skills, a desire to learn, and the ambition to grow into a subject matter expert while playing a key role in building and evolving our SMA operations and investment platform. This individual will play a critical role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our Separately Managed Accounts (SMAs) and contribute to the ongoing development of a scalable, multi-custodian wealth management investment platform. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience working with SMA workflows and custodial platforms, and will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, high-growth environment. Work directly with managers and the Cresset investment team as needed to support the ongoing management and evolution of the Cresset investment platform, ensuring seamless collaboration and alignment with organizational goals
  • Advisor Support & Request Management: Serve as the first point of contact for inbound onboarding and service requests related to SMA accounts from advisors and client associates.

  • Portal Access & Communication: Provide appropriate access to trading portals and communicate key updates to advisors throughout the onboarding lifecycle.
  • Process Management: Track onboarding and service tasks; maintain accuracy and transparency throughout each stage of the workflow. Collaborate with team members to ensure consistency and responsiveness.
  • Manager Documentation: Create and update comprehensive process documentation, onboarding guides, and internal FAQs to ensure consistency, support team scalability, and enable efficient knowledge transfer across departments.
  • Process Innovation: Contribute to the evolution of our SMA operations by identifying inefficiencies, recommending enhancements, and working directly with managers to implement process improvements.
  • Data Integrity: Help ensure internal data aligns with 3rd Party SMA data by participating in routine data reconciliation projects.
  • Project Support: Participate in broader Investment Operations initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
  • Technical Proficiency: Leverage tools like Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI to analyze data, create reporting dashboards, and support operational and project-based needs.

Qualifications:
