Location: Houston, TXSchedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMCompensation: $20 - $22/hourWork Arrangement: In-office only (NO remote opportunities)

At CCMSI, we’re seeking a detail-oriented and organized Claim Clerk to join our dedicated workers’ compensation claim team in Houston, TX. This administrative support role is vital to ensuring the smooth operation of our claims process and delivering exceptional service to our clients. Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

As a Claim Clerk, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to a specialized team handling workers’ compensation claims. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing incoming and outgoing claim-related correspondence, including matching, summarizing, and filing mail.
  • Setting up new claim files and ensuring all documentation is accurately maintained.
  • Assisting with bill follow-up and ensuring compliance with service standards.
  • Responding to calls from providers and other stakeholders, relaying messages, or resolving basic inquiries.
  • Backing up the receptionist as needed.
  • Maintaining storage and organization of both active and closed claim files.
  • Performing photocopying, summarizing medical records, and other clerical tasks to support claims processing.
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure seamless service to clients.
  • Adhering to strict confidentiality standards.

Physical Demands

  • Light lifting of objects weighing up to 15 pounds.
