You will be immersed in the Engineering product design and development environment and will shepherd projects from concept through to prototype validation and then production ramp collaboratively with other members of the greater multi-functional team such as the New Product Introduction (NPI) Program Manager.

What You Will Do:

• Plan the delivery of the overall Engineering Product Development programs and associated activities in accordance with the mission and the goals of the organization by establishing and maintaining the program charter(s) and program plans
• Establish and manage programs feature baseline, scheduling, critical path, and technology risks areas for execution.
• Cross-functionally communicate key development updates, risks and timeline on projects as well as presenting to the Executive team as required.
• Ensure that program activities operate within the policies and procedures of the organization and drive improvements / creation of such policies and procedures as require
• Deliver programs’ status reports in accordance with the programs charter(s) and departmental reporting process
• Ensure that the programs operate within the approved budget and overall objectives • Monitor all budgeted program expenditures, manage programs’ budgets in accordance with company rules
• Ensure that all financial records for the programs are up to date and available
• Identify and evaluate the risks and opportunities associated with programs activities and take appropriate action(s) to control the risks and opportunities in collaboration with the Engineering Leadership team
• Ensure the execution of program review meetings, gate reviews and regular reviews with the stakeholders, including across sites when applicable

What You Need:

EDUCATION:

• Bachelors’ Degree in engineering, Master's Degree preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of 5 years directly related experience with 2 years Project Managerial experience.
• Must have experience with technical management of engineering project teams.
• Must have experience in generation/tracking of project schedule, engineering resource allocation, and task assignments, budgets, requirements management, and customer interface.
• Previous hands-on experience designing hardware and/or software a plus
• Detail oriented with strong record-keeping and organizational skills, as well as excellent communication skills from teams to Executives, both verbal and written
• Strong experience in managing program financials, business cases and contracts
• Strong relationship and leadership skills along with the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment
• Build relationships by establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with others, both internally and externally, to achieve the goals of the organization
• Well organized with excellent written and verbal communication skill
• Experience reviewing customer specifications, working with suppliers, and manufacturing to deliver finished product according to those specifications is critically important.

Our good faith estimate of the salary range for this role is $125,000 - $142,000. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and other factors. In addition to base pay, we offer a full benefits package
