Location: Dodson Medical Office Building Department: Infectious Disease Standard Weekly Hours: 40 Summary: Cook Children’s Physician Network seeks to hire a Pediatric Infectious Diseases Physician. Opportunity Highlights: Join an 8-person infectious disease group consisting of 6 infectious diseases physicians, and two nurse practitioners. Our team provides a broad range of services including inpatient and outpatient consultations and patient care. This also includes management of hospitalized patients with infections in the pediatric, cardiac, and neonatal intensive care units. We participate in the care of patients who have undergone bone marrow and renal transplants as well. Our outpatient clinic includes those patients needing hospital follow up, those who have outpatient infections needing evaluation, and a large number of patients with chronic infections such as hepatitis B, hepatitis C, and HIV. Qualifications: • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) required. • American Heart Association BLS and PALS. • Unrestricted Texas Medical license (must obtain prior to start date). • Must have successfully completed an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Medical Association (AMA) approved residency for pediatrics. • Board certified/board eligible in Pediatric Infectious Disease.
