TITLE: DISPATCHER – CONCRETE & CONCRETE PUMPS
REPORTS TO: DISPATCH SUPERVISOR
JOB PURPOSE:
- The essential function of Redi Mix Dispatch is to receive and schedule concrete and concrete pump orders directly from customers to enter and document into Integra correctly.
- Communicate accurate and timely information to the drivers/operators, customers, and the main office.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Comprehend and perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and regulations
- Answer phones and communicate with customers, drivers, and pump operators
- Receive orders for concrete and concrete pump trucks
- Record and collect funds given to drivers and all payment methods given prior to shipping
- Monitor, organize, and file all paperwork for the main office to process
- Calculate quantities needed
- Quote prices
- Promote and up-sell extra products
- Communicate with the Bachman and fellow dispatchers while referencing the Integra system to establish delivery schedules according to factors such as quantity needed, distances to the delivery site, and unloading time
- Schedule drivers, operators, and all other employees accordingly within the concrete division
- Assist in coordinating mixer trucks/drivers and concrete pumps/operators to perform efficient, timely deliveries with each driver’s/operator’s capabilities
- Know delivery areas to support the delivery process better
- High organization skills for daily duties of paper flow
- Listen and actively participate in communication with Team Members and customers
- Maintain harmonious relationships with all Company staff
- Maintain a professional attitude and performance in accordance with the established personnel policies
- Immediately report any injury to management
- Perform any and all duties and tasks as assigned
