CDR Maguire Inc., a national multi-disciplinary engineering and emergency management consulting firm is seeking Liaison Officers to assist in the response to Hurricane Helene. The Liaison Officer serves as an integral link between local governmental agencies and displaced families. They identify gaps within service delivery and connect partners with resources in their efforts to supplement the emergency management capacity and capability of state, local, and tribal governments. Responsibilities including but not limited to:

- Liaise between local governmental agencies and displaced families to provide streamlined, comprehensive, and accessible information regarding federal programs, policies, public-private connections, and situational awareness
- Ensure collaboration among officials and stakeholder groups to ensure housing and services are provided for displaced families
- Ensure communication accessibility tools for displaced families who are deaf, hard of hearing, blind, or have other communication access requirements to ensure inclusion
- Other duties which may arise from time-to-time and/or are commensurate with the title and position
- Related experience in project coordination and working with a diverse set of stakeholders is required
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Exceptional critical thinking and creative problem-solving abilities required
- 3 years public/governmental relations preferred
- Ability to work professionally, effectively, and efficiently in a team environment with various stakeholders
- Physically able to work under disaster conditions and travel throughout the Commonwealth of Kentucky
- Provide Form I-9 supporting documentation that proves your identity and eligibility to work in the United States
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
