Expanding medical practice looking for a Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. You will perform a combination of various administrative and clinical tasks. Administrative responsibilities include greeting patients as they arrive, answering phone calls and emails, scheduling appointments, and updating and filing patients' medical records. Clinical duties include taking patient medical histories, recording patient vital signs, preparing patients for examination or procedure and assisting the physician as needed. There is an opportunity for a lead MA depending on experience.
Position is located in the University of Denver area.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Assist physician in clinical setting
- Data entry
- Obtaining prior authorization for medications and procedures
- Patient insurance verification
- Registration and upfront collections
- Triage patients calls and concerns

Required Education:

Pay range: $19-24 per hour, based on experience
