Motor Pump Mechanic

CEC Motor and Utility Services has an immediate opportunity for a full-time Motor Pump Mechanic at our Service Center in Palmetto, FL. We are accepting qualified, experienced, and versatile applicants as well as inexperienced candidates with strong mechanical knowledge who are highly motivated to learn. Pay will be based on experience and skill level.

Physical Demands

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position up to 50% of the time
• Occasionally move about within the shop to gather materials
• Constantly place and position small and large parts/materials during the diagnostic and repair process
• Must be able to bend, climb, stoop, and lift and carry up to 50 pounds without difficulty
  
  

Work Environment

• Work is primarily performed indoors in a climate-controlled shop
  
  

Reporting Relationships

• The Motor Pump Mechanic reports to the Motor Shop Manager
  
  

Hours

• Monday - Friday (7:00 am - 3:30 pm)
• Occasional Voluntary Overtime
