A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN INTEGRATED REGISTERED NURSE SPECIALIST
As an LPN Supervisor at a large skilled nursing facility, you spend the majority of your day assisting our Director of Nursing by playing an intricate role in pharmacy related responsibilities that include but are not limited to, updating the house stock lists and distribute to all Nursing Units, meet with Consultant Pharmacist to discuss any concerns, check Nursing Units supply of Glucose, if expired, replace, check all nursing unit IV supply totes and restock as needed, certain medication orders cannot be entered in PCC as continuous, pharmacy coordinator re-enters meds, keeping track of all Prolia orders and coordinate with unit secretaries so that labs may be drawn 2 weeks prior to injection. Ensure that medication is available.
