Job Summary:
As the Admissions Director, you will serve as the primary point of contact for the hospital liaison, prospective residents and their families, healthcare providers, and referral sources. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the admissions process——while ensuring a smooth, compassionate transition into our center.
Responsibilities:
- Receive accepted bed offers by Hospital Liaison to complete the admissions process
- Manage the admissions process from initial inquiry to resident intake, including verifying payor sources, obtaining insurance authorizations, and clinical screening
- Establish and maintain relationships with referral sources & key influencers
- Conduct facility tours and present Cedar Healthcare’s services to potential residents and families
- Ensure all admission documentation is completed in a timely and compliant manner
- Prepare and execute meaningful strategic sales & marketing plans that promote Cedar Healthcare’s services and create positive Top-of-mind recognition within our local senior community.
- Collaborate with hospital liaisons, nursing, social services, and finance teams to ensure appropriate placement and care planning
- Track and report on occupancy, referrals, and conversion metrics
Qualifications:
- Previous admissions, marketing, or case management experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid and insurance authorization processes
- Compassionate, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
