Cedar Park Med is recruiting dedicated and skilled Registered Nurses (RNs) who are ready to provide quality patient care and join a supportive team environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate knowledge of principles of growth and development to assess and interpret data for identifying age-specific needs.
- Provide specialized professional nursing supervision and coordination of quality patient care, fostering therapeutic relationships, and active treatment.
- Plan and implement nursing interventions, assessments, and care recommendations while maintaining a therapeutic environment.
- Administer medications and oversee the medication room, ensuring compliance with protocols and regulations.
- Serve as a shift leader, providing oversight to subordinate nursing staff and assigning tasks accordingly.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide care/treatment as ordered by medical staff.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring adherence to hospital or facility protocols.
- Perform additional duties as assigned within the Nursing Department.
Requirements:
- Must possess a valid Kansas Registered Nurse (RN) license/temporary permit or have authorization to practice by the Kansas State Board of Nursing.
- Minimum of 1 year of RN experience.
- Current CPR and/or ACLS certification.
