Band Camp Assistant Front Ensemble Instructor
The Cedar Springs High School Marching Band has an immediate opening for a Band Camp Assistant Front Ensemble Instructor for the week of band camp, August 1-7, 2022, with the possibility to be a visual or marching instructor or electronics manager for the entirety of the season.
Employment will begin August 1, pending completion of Human Resources meeting and completion of all required paperwork.
Responsibilities:
- Attendance at band camp
- Assist with show design
- Instruction of fundamental playing skills, show music, marching fundamentals, and show drill
- Creating a positive, while challenging and competitive environment for students to achieve excellence
- Complete all paperwork in a timely fashion
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in front ensemble playing
- Previous successful front ensemble instruction at the high school level
- Extensive knowledge of front ensemble technique and instruction
- Ability to establish working relationships with co-workers and function as part of a cohesive team
- Able to have effective and positive communication with students, staff members and directors
- Responsible, professional, embodies high ethical standards and integrity
Pay will be $10.25 per hour. Band Assistants will be employed by EduStaff.
