What are the responsibilities and job description for the Banquet Housemen position at Cedarbrook Country Club?
Cedarbrook Country Club is hiring for Banquet Housemen! We are looking to hire for part-time and full-time during our busy golf season!
Job Responsibilities:
- Reviews all Banquet function sheets and set up each function room according to floor plans.
- Set up banquet tables and buffets (if needed) for next day event (or day of).
- Maintains cleanliness of banquet function spaces.
- Assists food runners/expo if needed.
- Maintains food buffets to make sure food is always fresh and full for guests.
- Continually maintains communication with banquet captains for necessary items including but not limited to; extra chairs, tables, utensils, napkins, linens etc.
- Breaks down all equipment after event and assures banquet space is clean and organized.
- Returns all equipment to the necessary storage location.
- Maintains clean and organized storage areas.
- Must wear required uniform. Must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Position Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of a time.
- Must be able to carry and/or lift up to 40lbs.
- Flexible schedule- can work nights, weekends, holidays etc.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and key attention to detail.
- Banquet experience strongly encouraged.

Expected hours: 20 – 45 per week
