The Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) plays a vital role in providing direct care, daily support, and habilitation services. This position is responsible for fostering a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment in alignment with Cedarcrest Center’s mission, policies, and procedures.
Current openings are available on the evening shift (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM) and overnight shift (10:00 PM – 6:00 AM).
Primary Responsibilities:
Direct Care & Daily Living Support:

Provide personalized care based on each child’s individual plan of care.

Assist with daily routines including bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting, and mobility.

Safely lift, transfer, and position residents in accordance with facility protocols.

Apply braces, splints, and utilize adaptive equipment as directed by nursing and therapy teams.

Follow and implement specialized programs and treatments as instructed.
Program Engagement:
-
Support resident participation in daily activities, educational programs, and recreational opportunities.

Encourage maximum independence and meaningful engagement throughout the day.

Document resident participation in activities and individualized programs, as required.
Documentation & Monitoring:

Accurately chart care and observations in the electronic medical record each shift.

Report any changes in a resident’s condition promptly to the nurse.

Record data on assigned resident goals and assist with vital signs, weights, and measurements as needed.
Support Services:

Prepare formulas and feeding pumps for enteral nutrition, once trained.

Monitor and replenish stock of personal care and nutrition supplies.

Assist with care and maintenance of resident belongings, mobility devices, and equipment.

Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe environment by performing tasks such as making beds, cleaning rooms, and adhering to hygiene protocols.
Qualifications
Qualifications:

Licensure: Must hold a current New Hampshire Nursing Assistant license; ongoing licensure renewal is required to remain in good standing.
