CEFCU member service team members are critical to the success of the credit union. They provide a professional, knowledgeable, and caring experience when members contact us. We are looking for individuals who are personable, articulate, and positive to add to our already awesome team!
Provides coverage for the Corporate Cashier, Certificate Coordinator, Payroll Deposits Coordinators, ACH Coordinator, Bank Wire Specialist, and other areas as needed to ensure continuation of job functions and uninterrupted service to our members and other CEFCU departments. Assists all areas during peak business periods and completes special projects for department managers. Cross-sells CEFCU products and services.
Hours: Monday - Friday: 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal and phone communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Knowledge of CEFCU products and services.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word.
- Must demonstrate safe lifting ability through assessment. Ability to follow safe lifting procedures to lift, move, and/or manipulate items/equipment weighing up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to learn, understand, demonstrate, and/or explain NCUA insurance coverage rules, procedures for death accounts, ACH guidelines processes, IRA/HAS/CESA accounts, and CBAL; operate a currency counter; at an acceptable level within 10 weeks.
- Ability to learn vendor admin systems related to ACH functions at a proficient level within training period.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
- Experience in handling cash amounts in the millions of dollars, reconciling/balancing,
- Knowledge of ACH system.
- Accounting or Businessclasses.
- Experience handling, identifying, buying and selling foreign currency.
- Knowledge of US dollar currency denominations.
