Chief Financial Officer - Fractional
Position Overview:
As a Fractional CFO, you will work with exciting clients of varying sizes in many industries. You will manage client engagements and work directly with business owners to profitably grow their business. [You must be based within 60 miles of Saratoga Springs, NY and able to commute to our offices as needed.]
Qualifications:
- 10 years experience as a senior level finance leader such as CFO, VP of Finance, and Director of Finance.
- Experience working as a CFO for multiple companies in an advisory capacity; within a management consulting firm is a PLUS.
- Ability to coach and mentor client owners and staff.
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple accounts and priorities.
- Demonstrated proficiency and expertise of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills required. Must understand and be willing to adapt to a changing role. Must be comfortable working in a team dynamic with a variety of personalities. Client service is key.
- You must have experience with QB, Sage products and similar ERP systems. The ability to quickly learn and understand client systems is necessary. Experience with new system implementation is a plus.
- Demonstrated success in managing client engagements within a budget while achieving required scope of work.
- CPA, MBA, or CMA a Plus!
- Mix of Public Accounting and Private Company experience preferred but not critical.
- Confidentiality and promptness are of utmost importance.
- Proficiency with Excel, Word, PPT, and other software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Job responsibilities:
- Serve as your clients' CFO, reviewing financial information and preparing client dashboards.
- Reviewing existing systems and providing recommendations for best practices and gaining efficiency.
- Managing internal and external accounting staff.
- Providing regular strategic advice to CEOs and their management teams.
- Participating in client management meetings as the CFO.
- Participating in CEFO regularly scheduled staff meetings and reviews.
- Developing workflow processes.
- Developing banking relationships and successfully arranging lending programs.
- Identifying and correcting existing client pain points.
- Working hand in hand with clients to develop their future strategic plans along with milestones to success. Some clients work with EOS. Experience and understanding of the EOS principles and program is a plus.
- Preparation and/or review of projection models.
- Managing and participation in M&A related projects.
- Preparing and analyzing client assessment reports.
- Managing implementation projects.

Compensation and Benefits-
- $120,000 to $130,000 salary

Salary : $120,000 - $130,000
