We are hiring a Bookkeeper to support client accounts from our Marietta, Ohio office, with the flexibility to work from home several days per week. The ideal candidate is experienced, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a modern, cloud-based environment. You will be responsible for day-to-day bookkeeping duties across multiple clients and industries, and your work will be critical in supporting the Controllers and CFOs on our team.

- Maintain accurate financial records for assigned clients using QuickBooks Online or similar platforms
- Record and categorize all transactions with consistency and attention to detail
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts on a monthly basis
- Prepare and deliver monthly financial summaries for internal review
- Support AP/AR tracking, payroll data entry, and adjusting journal entries
- Maintain clear documentation and organize files in an audit-ready format
- Communicate directly with clients to gather missing data or clarify financial information
- Collaborate with internal Controllers and CFOs to support client deliverables and project deadlines
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field
- Minimum of 2 years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
- Ability to prioritize work across multiple clients with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong sense of personal accountability and professional judgment
- Experience with additional platforms such as Xero, Zoho Books, Gusto, ADP, or Bill.com
- Familiarity with inventory management, job costing, or project-based accounting
- Industry knowledge in construction, manufacturing, or services
- Prior experience working remotely or managing multiple clients simultaneously
