- Reviews the job, understands scope, and prepares pre-task plans to perform work in a safe manner and in accordance with Conduct of Ops
- Identifies and corrects/takes proper actions from any emerging issues or discoveries
- Obtains the corresponding work permits and communicates effectively with operations (24/7 Team) or other impacted work groups to ensure effective hand-offs.
- Performs quality and timely maintenance work
- Keeps work areas clean and orderly
- Identifies hazards and mitigates them appropriately
- Performs and completes root cause analysis.
- Provides feedback on task instruction
- Follows safe work procedures or adjusts working conditions
- Works with Stores Program Owner to make sure that parts are available when and as needed
- Communicates to Asset Leader if resources from outside the Unit Team or company are needed to perform the scope of work safely and reliably.
- Generates ideas and improvement projects
- Performs troubleshooting in collaboration with other workgroups as necessary (e.g., Reliability SME, etc.) along with development of in-house cost savings/reliability projects.
- Assists with Post PM startups for maintenance return to service of equipment.
- Basic understanding of electrical knowledge (fuses, resets, low voltage repairs)
- Shift flexibility due to 24/7 team and production schedule requirements
- Assists with Training of TRE’s on basic adjustments for setup of equipment
- Assists with training Process Experts in basic understanding of machine functionality
Education Requirement/Certifications:
- Highschool diploma or GED equivalent required
- Qualifications and skills (Required):
- At least 5 years work experience running or maintaining pultrusion equipment is required
- Strong mechanical aptitude in terms of trouble shooting equipment issues and repairs.
- Basic electrical preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and in team (alongside process experts, core maintenance experts, and manufacturing experts).
- Work schedule will be evening hours (12p-8p, 1p-9p or 2p-10p) plus participate in on-call rotation
