Celebration Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine Institute (COSMI) is based in Celebration, Florida, a suburb of Orlando. Patients come to the orthopedic and sports medicine center from across the

Orlando region and Central Florida.
COSMI includes board-certified and fellowship-trained primary care, sports medicine, orthopedic and podiatry surgeons, with specialties in hip and knee replacement, hand and wrist surgeries, foot and ankle repairs, spinal surgeries, shoulder replacement surgery, and other general or complex orthopedic needs.

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

The COSMI Clinical Manager (OCM) will be the primary responsible position to ensure continued and efficient patient care in all aspects of clinics within the COSMI businesses.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

Day-to-day supervision of all clinical staff including Medical Assistants and Radiology technicians. This includes maintaining staffing schedules; ensuring efficient patient flow during clinics; responsible for the ordering and maintaining medical supplies and medications; and other important duties to ensure quality patient care in collaboration with the COSMI physicians.

MINOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Responsible for clinic related regulatory requirements including HIPAA, OSHA, and other applicable regulations.

· Maintain the MIPS requirement for the practice.

· Expected to be the lead resource on Electronic Medical Records documentation and other needs for the Medical Staff.

· Oversee the continued educational and developmental needs of all clinical staff
The Clinical Manager is the primary resource to recruit and retain and discipline all clinical personnel.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB

Education:

Completion of either a Medical Assistant; a Licensed Practical Nurse; Registered Nurse; or other applicable medical care program.
BS or BA preferred in applicable field (business, healthcare administration, HR, or personnel management).

Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of either supervision or managing in a busy physician practice with strong preference for orthopedics or related specialties.

Other:

Demonstrated knowledge and experience with personnel and HR policies are required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Assist with the proper assistance and movement of patients throughout the clinic using proper technique.
Regularly may be required to move, lift, or relocate equipment, supplies, and/ or furniture in excess of 25 lbs.
Travel to other clinic or related services as part of the duties of the manager to assist in projects or other related tasks

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $67,500.00 per year
