Our Lincoln, NE location is hiring multiple part-time Lab Technicians / Bioanalytical Associate Analysts to join our team. These roles are part-time, non-benefited positions. The minimum starting wage is $19/ hr, with potential increases over time with successful performance.
Responsibilities:
Process/extract biological samples (blood, urine, plasma, feces) both manually and using automation
Prepare solutions/reagents
Record and document test data in notebooks/binders/electronic notebooks
Perform analytical analysis of samples using chromatography (LC-MS/MS and HPLC) or ligand-binding techniques (ELISA, RIA, EIA and PCR)
\n- Associate’s degree, Bachelor's degree or previous coursework in Microbiology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology or a related field is preferred
- Exposure to pipetting; will pipette an average of 2-3 hours per day, at times up to 8 hours
- Experience with GLPs is a plus
- Basic computer skills; able to read and enter information via computer 50% of the shift
- Strong attention to detail and self-motivation
- Training will be Monday - Friday from 8am-5pm, in 6-8 hour blocks of time, a minimum of 3 days a week, working 18-30 hours per week
- After training, must be able to work 18-30 hours per week, Monday - Friday between 8 am to 11 pm
- Ability to work an occasional weekend, when needed
