DIRECT HIRE, Maintenance Technician
3rd shift
Sunday - Thursday schedule
Responsible for overseeing all 3rd shift maintenance matters/issues to include troubleshooting machinery, diagnosing problems, anticipate repairs and work from drawings to repair and rebuild equipment. Will work with hydraulics, air, gas, water, ventilation systems, power equipment, hoists and cranes. Will plan and perform operations to move/secure machines, do preventive maintenance, fabricate parts, mechanical installs and plan layout and set up of work, based on various techniques to efficiently to do maintenance or fabrication from drawings, sketches and other instructions.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent, and ideally some academic background at the tech school level relating to Maintenance. Must have very strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, gas and HVAC. Strong blueprint and related experience, proficiency with measuring instruments, safety conscious, able to work independently, excellent verbal/written communication skills are also required. PLC experience is preferred.
